Inspiration comes to us in a variety of ways and in many forms. Creating a faith-based nautical print pattern was missing from the industry, so we wanted to create a new and exciting nautical pattern for kids.
We’re kids ourselves, so we wanted to play around with nautical colors that were timeliness yet nostalgic for the summer.
At the same time, we wanted kids to feel safe, so we added the word “saved” to our pattern. As a faith-based company, the word saved for us means deliverance from the power of negativity.
Here at Kia + Kyle Creations, we’re all about our colors, so we chose hues of red, white, and blue. Representative of love (red), purity (white) blue (freedom). To complement our primary hues, we also chose secondary colors of golds and browns for a pop of color.
